You Can Receive Christ Right Now by Faith Through Prayer

We need to understand what prayer is at its most personal level, so we can pray with joy and meaning. The New Testament tells us we can enter God’s presence because Jesus paid for our sins and reconciled us to God by his death on the cross (Hebrews 10:19-22). Through Christ, said the apostle Paul, we have “access to the Father by one Spirit” (Ephesians 2:18).

Prayer is talking with God not just to Him. It is time spent in His presence. He is not as concerned with your words as He is with the sincerity of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer:

Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life.
